What can you test?

Press keys on your physical keyboard and ACC64 will highlight the keys the browser receives. This makes it easy to find keys that do not respond, trigger twice or stay active after you release them.

The N-Key Rollover section also helps you check key combinations and spot ghosting when several keys are held at the same time.

How to test your keyboard

  1. Press every key once and make sure the matching key lights up on screen.
  2. Repeat any key that seems unreliable. A bad switch often shows the same problem more than once.
  3. Hold several keys together in the rollover test and check that every key you are physically holding remains detected.
  4. Try the same key or combination again before deciding that the keyboard is faulty.

What to look for

A working key should register when pressed and release cleanly. If one press regularly produces two events, a key fails to appear, or a held key disappears from a combination, there may be a switch, rollover or connection problem.

If a key does not behave normally

  • Reconnect the keyboard and try another USB port or wireless connection.
  • Close software that remaps keys or creates macros, then test again.
  • Some browser and operating-system shortcuts are intercepted before the page can read them, so not every special key can be tested in the same way.

Privacy

Key events are processed in your browser. ACC64 does not require an account or upload what you type during the test.
