Starfield — what should you know?
Starfield is an RPG released in 2023. It combines exploration, character progression, combat and a longer campaign, which means different locations and scenes can place very different loads on a PC.
Starfield can become CPU-limited in large cities and areas with many characters, while higher resolution shifts more load to the GPU. As a result, lowering graphics settings does not always produce the same FPS gain; when CPU-limited, image-quality reductions may help only a little.
How should you read the Starfield result?
Read the smoothness message first and the numbers second. The Starfield result is an approximate range, not a promise of an exact frame rate.
What can change real performance?
Drivers, temperatures, laptop power limits, game updates, background tasks and the exact scene can change performance. When a matching verified benchmark is available, ACC64 uses it first; otherwise the result falls back to a conservative estimate with lower confidence.
Is the Starfield FPS result an exact benchmark?
No. It is an approximate forecast. A matching verified benchmark, when available, takes priority over the model.
Can I change resolution and graphics quality?
Yes. The calculator compares 1080p, 1440p and 4K with several quality presets.
